Logistics Clerk

The Role:

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing shipping documentation. They play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the organization

Direct report line is the logistics manager

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using computerized inventory management systems
  • Process incoming and outgoing orders, including receiving and accurately documenting goods
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and invoices
  • Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure timely and accurate shipments
  • Resolve discrepancies in inventory records and investigate any discrepancies in shipments
  • Approach new potential customers
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

Required skills and knowledge:

  • Proficient in computerized inventory management systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
