The Role:

The selected candidate will report to the Sales Manager and form part of the ESS Sales Counter team developing a rewarding career.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting to customer needs
• Processing new sales leads
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls or email
• Helping clients with developing design ideas and issuing quotes accordingly
• Chasing customers to close sales leads
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
• Keeping track of own sales targets
• Compilation of quotations
• Represent the company at events and demonstrations
• Other departmental tasks as required by Manager

Required skills and abilities:

• Sales experience with a proven record of understanding customer needs
• Experience in sales
• A good command of both Maltese and English
• Knowledge of electrical and lighting products
• Friendly and outgoing personality able to work as a team and individually
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
