Lighting Designer

The Role:

The employee forms part of the lighting projects team on full-time basis.

Collaborate with clients to understand their lighting needs and design creative solutions that align with their vision.
Develop detailed lighting plans, layouts, and specifications, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and energy efficiency.
Create innovative lighting concepts for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial spaces.
Stay up-to-date with the latest lighting trends, technologies, and products to provide cutting-edge design solutions.
Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and expert guidance during customer interactions.
Participate in client presentations, showcasing your designs and explaining the rationale behind your lighting choices.
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of lighting designs into overall project plans.

Required skills and knowledge:

Proficiency in lighting design software and tools.
In-depth understanding of lighting principles.
Knowledge of lighting fixtures, lamps, controls, and their applications in different environments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey your design ideas to clients and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Knowledge of electrical systems and codes related to lighting design.
