The Role:

ESS Ltd. is a forerunner in the electrical sector of the Maltese market, catering for residential, commercial and institutional requirements. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Controller, reporting to the Stores Manager.

We are looking for champions – the most passionate and driven to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure all inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately on all levels, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner
• Reviewing Stores procedures whilst identifying and implementing cost-saving techniques
• Liaising with Stores Personnel to establish proper stock levels and coach staff to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Authorises all stock transfers documentation and report any misplaced items to the Warehouse Manager
• Investigate and alert respective Manager of any stock discrepancies and sign off all relative documentation as per company procedure
• Complete all necessary stock takes and conduct perpetual stock takes as per company procedures
• Follow company health and safety policies;
• To Present a professional image of the Company at all times both on an internal and external

Required skills and abilities:

• Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficient in using inventory management software.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to stock management.
