The Role:

To ensure that all deliveries are delivered on time according to schedule, reflecting the operation’s needs, as per company standards. Reporting directly to the Deliveries’ Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all deliveries are delivered on time according to schedule reflecting the operation’s needs
• To ensure that products and equipment are delivered in the same state as when loaded
• Responsible for proper loading and securing of trolleys / crates to prevent movement and allow safe transport, and assist in loading and unloading as required
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips; responsible for returning company vehicle in the same state as taken
• Keep the interior and exterior of the company vehicle clean
• To report any incidents that occur with immediate effect to superior
• Report any noted defects on company vehicles to superior
• Observe all related driving and health and safety regulations as specified by law and company standards
• Any other duties that may arise from time to time, are linked to the duties above due to the exigencies of the operation – supporting within the company Stores
• Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by the superiors

Required skills and abilities:

• Be in possession of Category B and C driving licences
• Possess excellent command of English and ideally Maltese languages
• Organised, accurate, responsible and diligent
• Positive employment track record
• Clean police conduct
