Electrical Engineer

The Role:

ESS Ltd. is a leading player in Malta's electrical industry, delivering cutting-edge solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional clients. Renowned for innovation and excellence, they are committed to providing high-quality electrical systems and services.

They are currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented **Electrical Engineer** to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing execution from concept through to completion, ensuring technical precision, efficiency, and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies to support project proposals and design solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Project team in planning, coordinating, and implementing engineering projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Interface with approved subcontractors and suppliers to align deliverables with project specifications and schedules.
  • Prepare clear, structured, and technically sound reports and documentation for internal and client use.
  • Track and report on project milestones, budgets, and timelines; participate in site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Support the delivery of high-impact, innovative projects through sound engineering practices and creative problem-solving.

Person Specification (Required skills and knowledge):

  • A **Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng Hons)** and a valid **warrant to practice as an Engineer** in accordance with Maltese law.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
